As all-day music listeners, we've found ourselves becoming more and more interested in its history. Where did the artist get their start? What instruments did they use during that one legendary performance? What recording studios did they create their art in?

Thanks to historians around the globe, we can witness some of their greatest moments beyond a computer screen in museums, tours and more. If you travel to a booming hub like Nashville, you can learn even more than you might expect.

Los Angeles, California

Pop-heads, the place you must visit is Los Angeles. You can stop at the Hollywood Walk of Fame to see memorials for your favorite stars, including Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and more. Then, you can head to Madame Tussauds to take a picture with the wax version of Justin Bieber.  Before you leave, go to the GRAMMY Museum to relive music history. Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville is basically a monument to American music. There are hundreds of museums, including the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Johnny Cash Museum. You can also see current faves, like Post Malone, perform at the Grand Ole Opry, and when you're looking for a place to grub, check out Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan or Blake Shelton's restaurants in the heart of the city.

New York City, New York
