5 Ways to Celebrate Your Instructor on National Teachers’ Day
We spend roughly eight hours of every weekday of nearly the first two decades of our life in school, and your teachers are the ones who dictate your entire learning experience. With a good instructor, your class and relationship can be life-changing, thanks to their support and understanding.

Provide a Small but Thoughtful Present
Your teacher doesn't have to be as kind and empowering as they are, but they choose to be. To go the extra mile on Teachers' Day, you can thank them for their courageousness with a small gift. For example, you can buy them a gift card to that one store they always rave about. Or, if they always have a mug on their desk, you might want to give them another to add to their expansive collection. Either way, it'll show that you notice and appreciate them, which will certainly make their day.

We all know school lunch food isn't the most delicious, but like you, your teacher has to spend five days per week eating from the cafeteria if they don't bring their own lunch. You can ensure they have a hearty meal by paying for their next meal. Feel free to ask them what their favorite restaurant is, so you can buy them a gift card. Or, you could ask them if they would be open to receiving a homemade plate.

Gift a Handwritten Note

This idea probably won't apply to you if you are a student at public school. However, if you are homeschooled or are receiving extra instruction during after hours, you can give your teacher a well-deserved day off.
