Here at Sweety High, we feel it's important to make friends with all types of people to broaden our perspectives and think about the world in new ways. That, of course, includes friendly and extroverted Leos. While their high energy and love for drama can appear a bit much for some, we think everyone has something to learn from the lion of the zodiac and can benefit greatly from their friendship. Here's why.

They'll Bring You Out of Your Shell

A friendship between a shy introvert and an outgoing Leo might seem like a mismatch at first, but it can also be a pairing made in heaven. We've seen many an extrovert "adopt" a more timid friend, basically taking them under their wing and helping them acclimate to a friend group if they think this person has untapped potential. If you're feeling a little bit unsure about something, they'll be happy to jump in for you and break the ice with that stranger or let the waiter know your order was wrong. In the meantime, they'll show you how easy it can be and encourage you to step up yourself and overcome that shyness. Leos are a fire sign, and their passion is evident in pretty much everything they do. They invest a lot of time and effort into the things that pique their interests, often in the name of self-improvement, and can seemingly go on and on forever about the topics that move them most. They're so ardent that, even if you're not really interested directly, you still feel that drive and are never bored by that commitment. Instead, it's inspiring, and you'll quickly feel motivated to focus inward and seek out something you can care for just as much.

As extroverts, Leos essentially are energized by being around others. This makes them very generous with their time. They'll rarely decline an invitation to hang out unless their schedule is already packed, and even then, they might instead decide to simply bring you along to the pre-planned hangout instead. They're happiest when they get to simply be a friend, and socialization is in their blood. They make loyal and caring friends who are just as happy to gab away as they are to listen and help you feel seen and heard.

Leos can be extremely persuasive when they're motivated. Because they're so charming and can express themselves clearly, they have a way with words than can sway even the most stubborn minds. When you're friends who are on the same team working toward the same goal, they're bound to support you in any way they can and help you achieve it right alongside them. However, you may also want to keep an eye out, because if they want something from you, they're going to be able to employ those same skills against you (and you might not even realize it).

Leo's constant mingling and time with friends means they're also always in the know. They're always keeping their ear to the ground and listening to rumors and gossip on the quest to fight boredom.
