Little Mix have released their official Sport Relief music video for “Word Up,” and we are obsessed!
The girls recorded the single, a remake of the 1986 classic by Cameo, as the official Sport Relief single for 2014. The U.K. organization runs every other year and encourages the nation to get active to raise money for great causes!
The music video echoes that sentiment as the Little Mix ladies get athletic at the gym. Perrie, Leigh-Anne, Jesy and Jade show off some funky dance moves and calisthenics as they belt out the awesome track!
Mel C from the original girl power group, The Spice Girls, even makes a cameo in the video.
We hope that the cause and the new video will inspire kids everywhere go get active. It really makes us want to hit the gym and get healthy for Sport Relief!
Sport Relief raises money to educate kids around the world and bring them clean water, as well as life-saving vaccines. Earlier in the year, the girls even visited Liberia to make change in person!
The 2014 Sport Relief fundraiser will take place from March 21 to March 23. The last Sport Relief, in 2012, raised more than £50 million. We bet they will be able to make an even bigger difference this year!
