5 Zodiac Signs That Don’t Care What Anyone Else Thinks

While some people are very community-driven, asking friends and family to weigh in before they make every move, others prefer to always drive their own decisions.

They're independent thinkers who would rather be true to themselves than change for anyone else.  It's not that they don't care about other people—it's just that they care less about what others think than about their own values and ideals. These people are nonconformists who stick to their own guns. They're also more likely than not to belong to certain zodiac signs, as we've outlined below.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac for a good reason. They're bold and impulsive, and they do what they please, rarely stopping to ask for anyone else's opinion or permission before they act. Their daring and passionate natures mean they have some big goals, as well as everything it takes to achieve them. They follow their hearts and their instincts and can be very difficult to sway once they dig their heels in.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

We're jumping way into the second half of the zodiac for the next sign with Scorpio. This emotional water sign has a reputation for being a bit closed-off and distant, and what's precisely what makes them so appealingly mysterious. Most Scorpios feel like they were born different from other people, but they embrace this fact, and start ignoring their naysayers early on. They value the thoughts of only a few close and trusted people, and even then, this doesn't mean they'll simply bend to their whims.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Sagittarius loves freedom a little bit too much to ever let other people's expectations hold them back. They can't be tied down, whether that means sticking in one place for too long or paying too attention much to what others have to say about them. They're independent and authentic, and if anything cramps their style, they'll avoid it like it never happened. Why conform when they can just exist as they are? Their dreams are bigger than that, and no one's going to get in their way.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

If we had to narrow this list down to just one sign of the zodiac, it'd have to be Aquarius. The waterbearers are the ultimate nonconformists with their unique perspective of the world and their innate desire to innovate. They follow a path that's all their own, with a single-minded focus on their dreams and ambitions that forgets to take any other opinions into account. Basically, they want to make some big changes, and they believe that their way is the only way.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)

You may be surprised to see emotional Pisces on this list, but its their uniquely dreamy approach that allows them to distance themselves from how others view them. They're imaginative and creative, defining success in their own way. They're not concerned with not hitting the same milestones and achievements as everyone else as long as they can enjoy themselves. They may be worriers, but their doubts have little to do with living up to other peoples' standards.
