Everything You Might Have Missed at the 6th Annual BeachLife Festival

Over the weekend, from May 2 to May 4, Southern California's leading multi-day music, art and food experience, BeachLife Festival, returned for a sixth year to put on its biggest event yet.

The festival took place on the waterfront in Redondo Beach, California, taking over the beach in the South Bay for a three-day celebration of music, community and coastal culture, drawing in a massive crowd of more than 35,000 attendees. While the main draw was the festival's stellar performances by dozens of unforgettable groups and artists, they were far from the only thing that made BeachLife 2025 a weekend to remember.

The Event

BeachLife Festival offers up a little bit of everything to do with the SoCal cultural experience, and this year's event featured a number of exciting activations and experiences including fan engagements, giveaways, tastings, games, photo ops and education on important environmental initiatives. It also included an art installation from Punk Rock & Paintbrushes, a silent auction benefiting various charities, surf and skateboarding activations and boutique shopping experiences.

Delicious food and drinks also a highlight during the event, with intentionally crafted menus that combine the flavors of the surf and sea with the festival's fun and laidback atmosphere. BeachLife executive chef Dennis Horton was joined by Michelin-starred chef Curtis Stone to curate the festival's high-end food options. At the Captain's Bungalows, Chef Stone headed the Captain's Culinary Experience, serving up unique eats for each day of the festival. Meanwhile, Chef Horton introduced his own VIP dining experience at the California Surf Club, where non-member Captain Plus attendees to the festival enjoyed gourmet meals and beverages in a private setting overlooking the main stage on the beach.

"We were lucky enough to grow up in Southern California on the beach, surfing, hanging out with sand between our toes, vibing with friends and living the beach life," said BeachLife co-founder and owner Allan Sanford in a press release. "Our culture celebrates the power and the beauty of the ocean and coastal resources—our waves, wind, smell of sea salt, beaches, sand and wildlife that call this their home."

The Music

And, as always, BeachLife 2025's music took center stage over the three-day event, featuring incredible performances by a diverse group of artists spanning decades and genres, from rock to pop and indie music, reggae and so much more.

The festival featured four music stages, the Toyota HighTide Stage, the L.A. Kings LowTide Stage, Eaze's RipTide Stage and the SpeakEasy Stage presented by Grillo's Pickles (and curated by Pennywise frontman and BeachLife brand director Jim Lindberg). This unique final stage set a more intimate scene with stripped acoustic performances from rock, surf and punk artists, allowing fans to enjoy classic and beloved songs in a brand new way.

With Lenny Kravitz, Sublime and Alanis Morisette serving as headliners, every day of the event had truly unstoppable lineups. Check out each day's performers below:
