Gayle got her start on TikTok, and when a follower asked her to come up with a breakup ballad, "abcdefu" was the result. How she wrote it so fast we'll never know, but we're so glad it exists. It's the perfect song to scream and sing along to in your car with your besties.

3. 'Malibu Nights' by LANY

LANY's lead singer, Paul Jason Klein, knows how to write a sad love song. "Malibu Nights" is perhaps his saddest ever, and that's saying something! Written about his ex Dua Lipa, this is a song pretty much anyone can relate to who's going through heartbreak.

4. 'Drivers License' by Olivia Rodrigo

When Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" came out a little over a year ago, it was pretty much all anyone could talk about. You can listen to it again and again and never get sick of it. The lyrics evoke such a strong emotion about love lost, so don't be surprised to find yourself in tears.
