50 Rebellious The Strokes Lyrics to Use as Photo Captions

Formed in 1998, The Strokes were one of the biggest rock bands of the early 2000s, captivating audiences with their fuzzy and nostalgic post-punk sound and their bold and rebellious personas. Today, we find that their music remains just as timeless as it ever was.

While it's been half a decade since they released their last album, The New Abnormal, the band has stayed busy, with a number of shows (including headlining at the 2025 Austin City Limits Festival) and they're making a return to the Coachella stage in 2026. They're rumored to be planning a world tour as well as working on another album, and to celebrate, below we've collected 50 of their essential lyrics to test out as your next photo caption.
