Camila Mendes 'Ended Things' With Her Boyfriend and Fans Aren't Happy With Her Ex

Camila Mendes is back on the market.

According to E! Online, the Riverdale actress is reportedly single after calling it quits with her boyfriend, Victor Houston. A source told the outlet the pair split "very recently" and added, "Camila ended things with Victor after ComicCon, when she realized she wasn't ready to be in this relationship anymore."

Victor is apparently "completely blindsided" and "very heartbroken" about the uncoupling, and, to make matters worse, Riverdale fans are seemingly blaming him for the breakup even though Camila was the one who decided to end things.

The duo, who attended neighboring high schools in Florida, first sparked romance rumors back in June after a series of flirty social media posts. They were then spotted at a restaurant in West Hollywood shortly thereafter, and in a since-deleted Instagram post from June 29 Victor wished his "beautiful" girlfriend a happy birthday.

In July, Camila admitted to Nylon that she felt awkward opening up about her relationship with someone who isn't in the entertainment industry. "It's funny because I'm more hesitant to talk about it because I don't want him to read this…I actually would totally talk about it right now, if I didn't feel like, 'Wait, he might read this,'" she said at the time. "It's just dating people in the industry is tough. I did for a little bit. I've just dated actors. It's hard when that's your world."

However, if the pair did indeed go their separate ways, Camila doesn't seem to be letting the breakup slow her down. Judging by her social media accounts she's hard at work in Vancouver filming Riverdale season 3 and looking after her new puppy.

The 24-year-old is also busy promoting some of her most recent projects, including a movie called The New Romantic and an appearance in The Chainsmokers music video for their song, "Side Effects."
