1. GALE Considers the Possibilities With 2nd Album, Lo Que Puede Pasar

We consider Puerto Rican artist GALE to be one of the up-and-coming masters of Latin pop, and she's left us speechless yet again with the release of her second album, Lo Que Puede PasarThe Spanish title translates to "what can happen" in English, featuring 13 danceable pop tracks exploring what happens when you adopt an optimistic outlook and the endless possibilities in life. Essentially, anything can happen if you just open yourself to the opportunity of love and happiness.

"This album is about daring to live every experience life throws at you, with your heart," GALE shared in Spanish in a post on Instagram. "So, how do you feel, without thinking so much (and look, I overthink everything), but these songs taught me to trust and believe in myself and know that whatever happens, in the end I'll be happy because I tried, because I lived it. I went from fringe to tweezers, from overthinking to daring, always curious and true to my feelings… I hope they love him as much as I do.

R&B singer-songwriter BJRNCK is a rising star who's making her mark on the genre with an irresistibly timeless sound. 3. BE:FIRST Put a J-Pop Twist on 'I Want You Back'

J-pop group BE:FIRST are one of the groups proving that Japanese pop is just as powerful and culturally relevant as K-pop, and they're at it again with a cover of Jackson 5's classic hit "I Want You Back." It's anything but a straightforward remake, with the seven-member group injecting the song with their own stylish approach, lyrics in both English and Japanese and other twists on the hit we all know and love. It's perfectly familiar yet fresh all at once, and we can't get enough.

4. Florence + the Machine Let It All Out With New Album Everybody Scream

The Halloween release of Florence + the Machine's sixth album, Everybody Scream, couldn't be more apt, with its influences of witchcraft and mysticism that feel like pure, atmospheric magic. The project wasn't an easy one for frontwoman Florence Welch, whose life was turned upside down when she had to undergo a life-saving surgery in the middle of a tour. She had to drop everything, exploring witchcraft, folk horror and magic as a means of healing both her body and spirit, and those things are apparent throughout the album's 12 compelling tracks. Across them, she explores everything from the strength found in taking the stage to her confidence as an artist, embarking on a relationship with death, the peace that comes in letting go of expectation and so, so much more.

5. Travis Japan Live in the Moment With New Single 'Disco Baby'

Internationally beloved J-pop group Travis Japan celebrated the three-year anniversary of their debut earlier this week, and we can't think of a better way to commemorate their time together than their new single, "Disco Baby." The track embraces retro, disco-pop sounds, complete with energetic horns, to completely let loose and fully embrace the fun of the moment.
