The Tech-Lover's Ultimate Gift Guide

What do you get the techie girl who has everything?

I'm here to answer that question this holiday season with a few of my personal favorite high-tech gadgets. Whether your budget is huge or tiny, you'll find something on this list that your tech-obsessed bestie hasn't seen before.

Sleepace Nox Sleep Light: $149.99

For a lot of people (myself included), falling asleep doesn't always come easy. The Nox Sleep Light aims to remedy that.

As you're getting ready to go to bed at night it gives off a soft red glow that's said to help you produce melatonin, a chemical that facilitates sleep. It also plays white noise, like dishwasher or traffic sounds, to get you sleeping like a log in no time.

Then when it's time to get up in the morning, it uses bright white light, imitating sunlight, and pleasant sounds like birds chirping to wake you up more naturally. But it doesn't just wake you up at the time you specify—with the help of the app, it also monitors your movement in your sleep, waiting for you to enter "light sleep" so you'll wake feeling as refreshed as possible.

And in addition to monitoring your movement, it also keeps track of the temperature, humidity and ambient light and sound of your sleep environment so you can pinpoint any external factors in why you're not getting the sleep you should.

And if the Nox Sleep Light is a bit out of your price range, you can always try the Sleepace Sleep Dot for $49.99. It attaches to the corner of your pillowcase, syncing with an app to get all the info on your sleep cycles and movement you need to find out more about your sleep habits.Sleepace Sleep Dot

Music Muffs: $39.99

It's getting chilly, so why not listen to your favorite music in a way that will leave you looking cute and feeling totally cozy? Music Muffs are essentially earmuff/headphone hybrids in silky faux fur and knit styles. And don't be fooled—they may look like ear warmers, but the sound quality is amazing.

Mpow Dunmer Wireless Sport Headphones: $28.99

These ultra-portable bluetooth headphones are sweat-proof and noise-canceling, making them perfect for the gym. For higher sound quality, attach the double silicone tips. To keep them totally secure on the run, use the shark fin ear hooks to keep them perfectly in place.

They're also super light, they wrap nicely around your neck during use and they happen to be cordless and compatible with iPhone 7. For that price, it'll be tough to find a better pair of bluetooth headphones.

Scosche MagicMount PowerBank: $59.99

There are a lot of portable chargers out there for the iPhone, but I gravitate toward ones that are sleek, lightweight and simple to use. The MagicMount PowerBank fits all three of those categories.

It's an external battery pack that plugs right into your iPhone through the Lightning port—but the best part is that it magnetically mounts to the back of your device with the help of two metal plates. They have adhesive backing so you can stick them directly to your phone or just place them between your phone and its case, allowing the battery pack to secure to your phone. After a while, you'll barely even notice it's there.

Coloud Bang Speaker: $24.95

The Coloud Bang is a super portable speaker that fits in the palm of your hand and packs a huge punch in terms of volume. This thing gets super loud, but without ever sounding crackly or distorted.Coloud bang speaker folded

It'll also plug right into your favorite device's headphone jack, and when you're not using it, the cord wraps perfectly around the speaker so there's no mess. You can even plug multiple Bang speakers into one another to create a chain for even bigger sound. Plus, you can't deny that it's pretty cute.

Mighty Mug: $19.99

When you think of high-tech gadgets, mugs probably aren't the first thing that come to mind. That's what makes a Mighty Mug so innovative.

Basically, Mighty Mugs are unspillable. Powered by SmartGrip technology, it stays in place once set down, even if you try your hardest to knock it over. But when it's time to take a gulp, a gentle touch easily lifts the mug. It's the perfect gift for that friend who frequently spills—particularly if they've ever accidentally destroyed a phone or laptop in the process. The bottom of the mug can even lift light objects, if that's something you've ever wanted to do!
