All the Best Foods and Drinks We Tried in February 2024

February has to be the most lovey-dovey month of the year, and we like to view it as a month of indulgence and treating ourselves to the finer things.

That definitely extends to food, and last month, our favorite brands let us try all kinds of new goodies, from sensational salty snacks to yummy beverages, flavorful meals, decadent desserts and so much more. We were not let down. We taste them all so we can share the very best, and you can discover our top February 2024 picks in the list below.

THE ONLY BEAN

The Only Bean's Crunchy Roasted Edamame Beans have always been delicious, but they just got a major upgrade in the form of the new Wasabi Soy Sauce flavor. The beans themselves are crunchy and satisfying, delivering 13 grams of plant-based protein in every serving, while the flavor perfectly balances nose-tickling heat with umami notes and saltiness to keep us coming back for handful after handful.

Churn Foods

Butter makes pretty much everything better, especially if it's one of the grass-fed flavored butter varieties from Churn Foods. They offer nine types of butter in both sweet and savory varieties, and while we love them all on toast (especially the Maple & Cinnamon flavor for a French toast-like sweetness), the Pesto Butter and Bruschetta Butter are also delicious on everything from pasta to fish and meat dishes.

Nguyen Coffee Supply

If you've ever had Vietnamese coffee, you know it simply hits different, and it's never been easier (or tastier) to make for yourself at home than with Nguyen Coffee Supply. We recommend starting with their Coffee Essentials Set, which in addition to three varieties of ground or whole coffee beans, includes their phin filter, a stackable glass and coffee scoop set, so you can learn the art of drip coffee for yourself. The process is one of our favorite rituals, and the dark and delicious results are more than worth the effort.

Pretty Tasty

Collagen supplements can be very hit or miss in terms of taste and texture, but Pretty Tasty's Collagen Teas are here to change that, delivering plenty of bovine-sourced collagen protein peptides in the form of tasty and sippable canned teas. Coming in Peach and Raspberry varieties, both feature light fruity tea flavors with just the right amount of sweetness and only 45 calories per can, without the icky aftertaste inherent in many other collagen drinks.

Jovial

As avid mac & cheese lovers, we're always hunting for the next big thing, and Jovial Foods is on to something very good with its gluten-free, grain-free Italian foods. They offer brown rice pastas, organic chickpeas and Bionaturae gluten-free pasta made with rice and lentils, but we set our sights on their Organic Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese in both White Cheddar and Vegan Mac flavors. Made with brown rice pasta, they prep exactly like your favorite stovetop mac & cheese while being fully gluten-free and tasting delicious in both cheesy flavors. We also like that there's more of an al dente bite to each noodle, making every bowl feel extra substantial and hearty.

Banza

Banza is a frozen pizza brand beloved for its delicious gluten-free pizzas, and they just expanded their vegan line with tasty Vegan Margherita and Vegan Roasted Veggie Pizzas. They feature the same crisp and satisfying cauliflower crusts, this time topped with creamy plant-based mozzarella cheese. While the Margherita is topped with a rich, basil-infused San Marzano tomato sauce, the Roasted Veggie features roasted red and yellow peppers plus onions and spinach, both perfectly complementing the crust and cheese. Plus, just half of a pizza has 10 grams of protein and seven grams of fiber.

Deep Indian Kitchen

Frozen Indian food can be pretty hit-or-miss, but after trying Deep Indian Kitchen and their restaurant-quality frozen offerings, we think we may have found a new favorite brand. They just launched new Kati Street Wraps, which are a bit like burritos but with crisp, toasty partha bread wrappers filled with decadent Indian classics. Just pop the frozen wrap in the sleeve and microwave it on a plate for two minutes, then let rest for an instant meal packed with rich spicy and savory flavors. They're now available in Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Spinach Paneer and Potato & Pea Samosa flavors—all of which we found to be incredibly delicious.

Fudgy Pops

There's something so nostalgic about frozen fudge pops, and Fudgy Pop is a new brand that's reinventing the classic in a stripped-down, better-for-you formula that tastes just as classic and chocolatey. Their bars are vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free, yet have fewer than 10 ingredients and just 90 calories per tasty pop. SorBabes

As sorbet connoisseurs who love the fruity frozen dessert just as much as we like ice cream, we jumped at the opportunity to try SorBabes, and these soft frozen fruit bars with crunch are even more satisfying than we'd hoped. They come in Mango Coconut Crunch, Berries & Cocoa Crisp and Strawberries & Cream flavors, each consisting of a refreshing fruit sorbet center with a crisp coating, complete with crunchy bits, and between them, it's impossible to pick a favorite.

Frooze Balls

Frooze Balls' plant-powered snacks made with dates, nuts, chocolate, peanut butter and more have been one of our favorite hearty, go-to snacks for a while, but we truly can't get enough of their new Frooze Balls Fruit Ball Snacks. They call them a "juice box in a ball," coming in yummy Apple, Strawberry and Orange varieties that have all of the fruity flavors of rich fruit leather in a chewy and soft ball form. We were surprised to find out they also contain sunflower butter, adding protein, because it just tastes like delicious fruity goodness from the first bite to the last.

Aura Bora

Aura Bora's new flavor drops are something we look forward to each and every month, and February's flavor, Banana Bergamot, didn't disappoint. The banana flavor in this sparkling water is subtle, adding just a hint of tropical sweetness, while the punchier not-quite-bitter citrus notes of bergamot comes through stronger to remind us of a delicious cup of Earl Grey. We're guessing this one won't be everyone's cup of tea (no pun intended), but we drank the whole pack in record time.

Late July

Since getting positively addicted to Late July's delicious Green Goddess chips, we're never going to turn down an opportunity to try their latest and greatest chip flavors, and the two newest additions to the family are extra bold. They now have tortilla chips in both Hawaiian Habanero and Scorchin' Sauce flavors, offering plenty of complex flavor as well as heat. The Hawaiian Habanero tastes like fresh pineapple salsa, combining tangy tropical flavor with spice, while the Scorching' Sauce is extra hot, combining peppery notes with smoky cayenne for something that truly sizzles.

Culture Pop

In a world full of sugary sodas that simply aren't good for gut health, Culture Pop Soda is trying to do something different, and they recently introduced their eighth flavor, Black Cherry. Not only is this delicious fruity soda extra tart and tangy, sweetened with real organic white grape and sour cherry juice (and complemented with cacao), but it contains no added sugars or artificial sweeteners, as well as plenty of live probiotics. In fact, it has billions of live probiotics in every 45-calorie can, so you can rest assured that you're improving your gut health with every sip.

Magic Mind

Struggling with brain fog and a lack of focus? Magic Mind's energy shots, formulated with nootropics, adaptogens, vitamins and minerals, are here to save the day. Each one is just two ounces and made with organic matcha, plus agave, passionfruit, vanilla and red beet, resulting in something that's a tiny bit earthy with an almost citrusy fruit flavor and just a hint of marshmallowy sweetness. Of course, the best part is that it'll make you feel like a million bucks. With 55 mg of caffeine per shot, it makes us feel a lot better than we do after we have a cup of morning coffee, lifting our foggy brains and helping us feel more focused and motivated. Your mileage may also vary, but we've used these to help us recover from migraines, and they work like pure magic

S'NOODS

Wish you could snack on pasta anytime, anywhere? S'NOODS may be the answer to your prayers. The unique noodle snacks replicate classic noodle dishes in an extra crunchy chip form, like snacking on uncooked pasta right out of the bag. They come in three flavors—Cavatappi Carbonara, Rigatoni Basil Pomodoro and Spicy Miso Ramen—each with its own unique taste and texture. The Cavatappi Carbonara is air-popped penne with a rich parmesan and pancetta flavor, while the Rigatoni Basil Pomodoro takes twisty rigatoni and adds roasted tomatoes, caramelized garlic and basil. Our favorite, however, is the Spicy Miso Ramen, packing plenty of heat as well as umami flavor in a slightly softer, yet still crisp, ramen noodle cluster.
