7 TV Shows as Spooky as Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

We waited months for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina to arrive on Netflix.

When it finally did, we binged the whole series in a day. A day. We already know season two is coming, it's just a matter of when. It looks like it could be as early as next year, but we're not holding our breath.

Until we get the second season of this witchy series, catch us watching these seven shows as spooky as Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Care to join?

1. Charmed

Chances are you knew this series would be on the list. Following the lives of the Halliwell sisters from discovering their witches to honing their powers, this series is a classic. The CW just released the reboot, so you can start with that one. But we're partial to the original that started it all. Good news, it's also available to binge on Netflix.

2. The Haunting of Hill House

A new Netflix original, everyone and their mother has been obsessing over this show about a family who grew up in a haunted house. Now adults, a tragedy brings them back to the place that started it all. Though there aren't any witches in this show, there's a lot of spooky stuff that goes down.

Only in its first season, we can't wait to see what else is to come. There may only be a few episodes available, like Sabrina, but you'll want to watch this a few times through to make sure you catch everything that's going on.

3. Witches of East End

Based on a book of the same name written by Melissa de la Cruz (aka the author of Descendants), the show follows the lives of a family of—you guessed it—witches, who shake things up in their small town.

The series stars Riverdale's Mädchen Amick (Alice Cooper) and Jenna Dewan. There are also only two seasons of it, so you'll get through it pretty quickly.

4. The Secret Circle

Another show cut short too soon, The Secret Circle stars Girlboss' Britt Robertson, Teen Wolf's Shelley Henning and The Originals' Phoebe Tonkin as a coven of witches trying to unlock the full extent of their powers. It only has one season, so you'll be left wanting more, but at least we gave you other shows to invest your time in once you finish this one.

5. A Discovery of Witches

Historian and witch Diana must work together with geneticist and vampire Matthew to protect a bewitched manuscript and solve the mysteries within it, all while avoiding threats from other mythological creatures.

This British series has just begun, so you can latch onto it before the rest of the world does and claim you were there since the very beginning. Because who doesn't like boasting about how they liked a show before it was popular?

6. Grimm

Nick believes he's just a regular detective, until he's a guardian meant to keep the balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. Inspired by the stories in Grimms' Fairy Tales, there are a whole six season for you to watch. And, there's even a spinoff that could be coming to a TV screen near you very shortly.

7. Salem

As you might've guessed from the title, this witchy series is loosely based on the Salem witch trials. It's a much darker, sinister take on the events that happened in the 17th century. Much like Sabrina, this show isn't afraid to go dark, and we mean full dark. They don't hold anything back, so we suggest watching it with the lights on and a buddy, if you're a bit of a scaredy cat.
