The 5 Signs of the Zodiac That Are Bored Most Easily
These days, despite a billion ways to be entertained at any given moment, boredom has been anything but eradicated. In fact, our instant access to any information we need and million pieces of media can make everyday monotony seem even more dull when we can't be near our devices—or just can't find one thing to watch that scratches the right itch.
We've heard people say that "only boring people get bored," but in reality, we've found it's the most energetic, creative and fun-loving people who get extra restless when they've got nothing exciting to do. Do you count yourself among them? In our time studying astrology, we've noticed that some signs have a stronger tendency toward boredom than most, and we've listed the five biggest standouts below.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Of all of the signs, it might be Aries that hates being bored the most. We like to joke that the reason they're the first sign of the zodiac is because they cut in line, as they're impulsive, action-oriented and eager to jump into the next thing at any moment. They're not really planners, with fiery and passionate attitudes, so being forced to sit around doing nothing is their worst nightmare. They're precisely the person you want around when you need to add energy and excitement to a project, but unless they're able to channel that drive and focus into something, they can easily burn themselves out and are prone to unwise choices.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
The air signs are known for craving freedom, fun and flexibility, and that includes boredom-prone Gemini. They're social creatures known for hopping between different friend groups at any given moment, always seeking out the best opportunities to inject a little bit of joy and excitement into their lives—or at least to binge their favorite media. When they can't do that, they can lose their steam fast. After all, most Geminis are extroverts, meaning their social batteries are recharged by spending time with others. Being understimulated and bored can leave them feeling a bit weary and drained of energy.
Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22)
Libra's zodiac symbol is a set of scales because they are all about maintaining balance and a careful equilibrium. Like their fellow air signs, Gemini, they need a lot of mental stimulation to be satisfied, but what they want can change from moment to moment, constantly tipping the scale this way or that. They might be happy with the status quo for a moment, but soon grow bored, immediately embarking on the next quest to find the new thing that's going to actually change their lives. It's an ongoing cycle of chasing anything they can to break away from the mundane.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Sagittarians tend to be known for their restless spirits. They never want to stay in one place for too long and are adventurers who want to explore the world and soak in everything it has to offer. They're driven by novelty, and as soon as something new becomes too familiar, they're ready to move on and seek something new. Like Aries, they're highly passionate and excitable, and if they're not being challenged or flexing their talents in a new way, they're to grow bored of any situation quickly.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
Unlike the air and fire signs higher up in this list, watery Pisces' boredom stems not from a lack of action or novelty, but from the fact that their dreams tend to be so much more interesting than reality. They're immensely creative yet highly distractable, and it's tough for them to focus and take in any information if they're not engaged with the subject matter. Pisces is frequently zoning out due to boredom—but at least they also know how to keep themselves entertained in the worlds of their daydreams, rarely staying bored.
