The Dairy Queen Oreo Firework Blizzard Looks Just Like the Fourth of July

Get ready for fireworks this month—not just in the sky but also in your ice cream.

Dairy Queen's Blizzard of the month for July is both a festive and lively one. The fast food restaurant chain has introduced the Oreo Firework Blizzard, just in time to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Just like Oreo Firework cookies, the Blizzards are full of popping candy that will get your taste buds (almost literally) jumping. They're red and blue, which complements the vanilla soft serve to give you a patriotic motif. As a bonus, there are Oreo cookie chunks to enjoy, too.

Oreo Firework Blizzards will be available at participating Dairy Queen locations throughout July, but there's another Independence Day-inspired dessert that will be available for only the holiday week, according to QSR magazine. The chain introduced the Star Spangled Blizzard on July 2, and it consists of vanilla soft serve with a curl, rock candy and a Stars & Stripes StarKiss Frozen Treat.
