E’LAST Explores Their New Vibe in ‘Thrill’ and Shares Their Love for Their Elrings
After 10 months, K-pop group E'LAST made a triumphant return to the scene with their comeback single "Thrill" in February, and it was worth every second of the wait.
The new track demonstrates just how versatile the eight-member group is, showing how cohesive they are and how flawlessly they work together, with a striking rock-infused EDM sound and choreography that makes us want to jump to our feet. It's clear they've grown since last year's mini-album, ROAR, and we're looking forward to further exploration of this new, adventurous sound that consistently gets our blood pumping. We got the chance to chat with the group all about the exciting comeback—and their love for their fandom, Elrings—and they shared it all with us in the interview below.

Sweety High: What is the story behind "Thrill," and how did the song come to the group?
Yejun: We participated in the early production stage of this album, sharing ideas and working on it together.

SH: What does "Thrill" mean to the group?
Choi In: I can say that this song has a different vibe and feeling from the albums that came before it. Therefore, all the members also felt something different while practicing.

SH: Why did "Thrill" feel like the perfect comeback track for the group? How do you think you've grown as artists since your ROAR mini-album?
Baek Gyeol: I am so happy and thankful to be back, and to show Elrings our new concept!

Won Jun: It has been almost a year since we last came back, so it's a new feeling. We grew as a group and performers compared to last year. I'm excited to see how much we will grow in the future as well.

SH: Is there anything you can tease about what else you have coming up in 2023?
Rano: We haven't had many chances to meet and interact with Elrings recently. Going forward, we will try our best to make it happen more and more.
