Fun Facts:

1. Last week, Natalie released her album, the world i didn't want.

Natalie Jane: This album is about escaping the life you feel confined to. It's about growing up both physically and emotionally and leaving behind essentially the world you don't want. I moved away from New Jersey when I was 18 completely alone across the country to Los Angeles and it was very scary. It was definitely outside of my comfort zone, but I feel like it was extremely necessary for me on my personal journey. This album truly feels like it represents my life on the journey to the world I do want.

2. Her favorite track on the new album is "butterflies."

Natalie: It starts in this moody, jazzy world, but then transforms completely into a dance song. I love combining two worlds into one song. I have a short attention span, and this song just keeps me engaged the entire time.

3. The one life lesson she wishes she'd learned earlier on is to stop moving too fast.

Natalie: I feel like I'm super young still, but I wish I could tell my teenage self to just slow down, because you don't get time back and it's so precious.

4. If she could travel anywhere in the world in the week, she'd love an unplugged tropical vacation.

Natalie: I would 100% go to Hawaii and turn off my phone and just hike and swim and eat fruit. I would love to just relax off the grid in a tropical paradise.

5. Her all-time favorite movie is Grown Ups.

Natalie: I like lighthearted comedy. I will never ever watch a horror movie or a thriller. I don't understand why people voluntarily stress themselves out by watching movies.

6. She thinks she'd be awful at being a cop.

Natalie: If I had to chase someone in a cop car, I would 100% lose them, I'm a bad driver.

7. She can't stop playing Fruit Merge on her phone.

Natalie: It's a game where you combine fruit to get bigger fruits and your goal is to get a watermelon, and it's so hard, but it's the most fulfilling feeling in the world.

8. She says the scariest thing she's ever done was probably writing this album.

Natalie: I think this is the most vulnerable I've ever been with my music and that's scary because I basically am giving millions of people access to my deepest darkest fears.

9. She's closer to her sister than anyone else.

Natalie: She is two years older than me and we've done everything together since I was born. We would color and sing and dress up. I still see her pretty often. She's given me some of the best advice I've ever received. She truly humbles me and keeps me grounded more than anyone else.

10. Natalie says that one thing that's core to her identity is how much she cares about other people's feelings.

Natalie: My ultimate goal in life is to be happy and share that with my friends, family and fans. I want to make sure the fans know that they are seen and appreciated because at the end of the day I am nothing without them and for that I'm forever grateful. They bring me so much joy, and I just wanna reciprocate that.
