Aries (March 21 – April 19): The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Aries is a sign known for its boldness, bravery and passion, making The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild the perfect match. The game's sprawling map and massive story reward risk-taking and careful exploration of every cave, valley and mountaintop. It takes real determination to find everything hidden in the game, and Ariens have these traits in spades.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Super Mario Odyssey

Geminis are the social butterflies of the zodiac, so their game of the year is one that can get everyone talking: Super Mario Odyssey. It stars everyone's favorite plumber, Mario, as he travels all over the world to stop the evil Bowser from marrying Princess Peach. As much as the game is about overcoming baddies, it's about befriending and helping all types of people and creatures across the globe. It's tough for Gemini to be lonely when they can play Super Mario Odyssey.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Stardew Valley

Cancerians are the nurturers of the zodiac, putting the farming simulator Stardew Valley right up their alleys. In the game, players inherit their grandfather's decaying farm and restore it to its former glory with a little TLC. As they care for the land, they also cultivate relationships with the townspeople. Sensitive Cancerians know how to put love and attention into their endeavors, and their farms will flourish for it.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Leos are born to be stars and love being the center of attention, so they'll adore Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The game attracted a ton of recognition earlier this year, not just because of its strangeness, but because it's also a legitimately compelling and innovative game. Leos won't be able to take their eyes off of this game, and they'll love to be the ones to share its delightful weirdness with everyone they know.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22): TumbleSeed

Virgos tend to overanalyze everything and work extremely hard, and of all the zodiac signs, they're the most capable of taking on the incredible, but notoriously difficult, TumbleSeed. The game is all about carefully balancing a seed and carrying it all the way to the top of the mountain while narrowly avoiding obstacles, continuously evaluating which power-ups to utilize in the moment to keep you in the long run. The game's challenge makes it exceedingly satisfying to overcome, and Virgos have just the skills necessary to reach the mountain's peak.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22): Snipperclips Plus

Librans love cooperation and communication, making Snipperclips Plus their dream game. This collaborative puzzler about cute pieces of paper who can snip and clip each other into special shapes is best with two or more players and when everyone involved keeps calm and talks things out. Occasionally, the fun is about a round devolving into shouting, but for the most part, success only comes when you can work together. If the world were more like Snipperclips, all Librans would be truly happy.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Battle Chef Brigade

Scorpios are known for being charming but deeply misunderstood, and they require a game that gets them, like Battle Chef Brigade. In a world where warriors defeat and then cook wild beasts to create delectable dishes, this brawler combines monster slaying, resource collecting and puzzle solving to prep each meal. It doesn't fit neatly into any one category, so many will misinterpret it, but Scorpio understands.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): SteamWorld Dig 2

Sagittarians are the optimistic adventurers of the zodiac, and few games capture that spirit better than the action-platformer SteamWorld Dig 2. In this game, a steam-powered robot digs her way through hidden caverns and ancient temples to investigate the disappearance of the hero Rusty. The game is all about exploration and it's nearly impossible to put down—particularly for a Sagittarian.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): Golf Story

Capricorns are known for being very ambitious, but traditional in their approach. Though they might not expect it at first, Golf Story is the perfect game for them. It blends two classic game styles—RPG and golfing—into one strangely absorbing game that pushes boundaries and treads new ground without reinventing the wheel. Plus, driven Capricorns will get immense satisfaction from landing those precious holes-in-one.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Aquarians march to the beat of their own drums, leaning into the qualities of being imaginative and unpredictable. They're always seeking new experiences and ideas, making Mario Kart 8 Deluxe their ideal game. It's fast, frantic and fun to play with friends, and with the huge number of courses, playable characters and super customizable carts, you're never really driving the same race twice. The opportunities are endless, just like Aquarius likes it.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): Splatoon 2

Pisceans are the artists of the zodiac, so it makes sense that their dream game would be all about painting the town red (and every other color of the rainbow). Splatoon 2 may be a shooter, but it's anything but conventional, as players carry weapons that shoot colored ink rather than bullets. The main game mode, turf war, is all about covering as much of the arena as possible in your team's color, and preventing the opposing team from painting in their color. Creative Pisceans will also love the departure from violence.
