(The Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd is Your King Edition via Taylor Swift)
Aries (March 20 – April 19): 'Wood'
As the action-oriented first sign of the zodiac, Aries refuses to wait around for what's good for them, and that's one of the many themes in the romantic and innuendo-laden "Wood." While Taylor may have once believed in superstition and fortune, she's now realizing that you can't rely on luck, instead making her own—and all it took was the right kind of love to finally understand this. Plus, the groovy mood is perfectly suited to Aries' fiery energy.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20): 'Honey'
Taurus is an earth sign known for being hard-working and dependable, but—possibly because they love fine things and being pampered—they're not always taken seriously. Those ideas are at the heart of "Honey," describing a love that decontextualizes nicknames like honey," "sweetie" and sweetheart," which Taylor has often heard in a sarcastic tone, but that now conveys authentic affection coming from the right gentleman. Finally she's the one being taken care of and experiencing a lasting love she can treasure, with everything cast under a golden, optimistic glow.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20): 'Opalite'
Gemini is a sign that's defined by its relationships, typically finding authentic connections with others to be one of the most important things. That's precisely the type of love that's highlighted in the vibrant and optimistic lyrics of "Opalite." After years of pining after old loves and bring in relationships she wasn't sure about, she's finally found the only who brings out the best of her and allows her to see the world in a brand new light. She's matched with her twin flame, and with Gemini's twin zodiac symbol, it couldn't be more perfect.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): 'Actually Romantic'
As a water sign, Cancer can be quite sensitive, though they usually hide their true feelings beneath their tough outer shell (much like their zodiac symbol, the crab). "Actually Romantic" suits them well because Cancers often cling tightly to the past, and we love seeing a grudge evolve into something more over the playful and sarcastic guitar-driven track. Like Taylor, they might take pleasure in finding out that an ex is still obsessed with them, trash talking them like the breakup is still fresh even after they've moved on. It's a compliment to live in someone's head rent-free like that, all the while laughing at how insignificant they've become to you.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): 'The Life of a Showgirl' ft. Sabrina Carpenter
It's no stretch to say that Leo is the showgirl of the zodiac, with a knack for shining bright and taking center stage, and so "The Life of a Showgirl" featuring Sabrina Carpenter is likely not just to be their favorite song, but an important cautionary tale. Led by pounding stage pianos, the song details admiration for a star whose fame has been a double-edged sword. She may seem to have everything she could want, but warns a younger aspiring artist to be wary of the realities of celebrity. The rising star takes her words to heart, paying precisely the same price while knowing her fame can't be taken away from her. Whether Leo's willing to also make those sacrifices, they're bound to hear the message loud and clear.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sep. 22): 'Elizabeth Taylor'
As a sign, Virgo is recognized for its work ethic and perfectionism, often to the detriment of their personal relationships, just as described in "Elizabeth Taylor." The song is named after the actress of the same name, who was not only one of the famous stars of classic Hollywood cinema, but was also famously married eight times. She's an example of how dedication to your work can wreak havoc on your personal life, leading Taylor to wonder if she'll ever be able to balance her work with true love—especially with the mounting pressure to maintain her star power. The average Virgo isn't the biggest music star in the world, but they'll still be able to relate in some way.

Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22): 'Eldest Daughter'
Libra is an outgoing and generous sign, but for many, this can result in people-pleasing and losing yourself in an effort to fit in. In "Eldest Daughter," Taylor describes the ways she used to do this, acting out performative coolness and being something she's not in order to be what others wanted. Now, she's ready to admit she was never those things and embrace the truest version of herself. She's not sure what that looks like, besides the fact that she plans to stay loyal to the most important person in her life. That's yet another thing Libra will relate to fully.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): 'The Fate of Ophelia'
Scorpio may have a mostly mysterious reputation, but as one of the water signs of the zodiac, they're secretly one of the most emotional and dramatic as well. That's why "The Fate of Ophelia" couldn't be better suited for them. The sign is known for keeping a distance from others until they prove their worth and trust, and that's precisely what happens in this song, with Taylor feeling she might have suffered a tragic fate if the right person hadn't come into their life at just that moment. The sea and drowning metaphors are also apt, given Scorpio's watery nature—as well as the fact that the song literally mentions Scorpio's symbol, the scorpion.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): 'CANCELLED!'
Not to say that Sagittarius has a tendency to get canceled, but as the most blunt sign of the zodiac, they can sometimes put their feet in their mouths, and their impulsive natures can lead them to do things before they fully think out the ramifications of their actions. "CANCELLED!" is a song reflecting on how easy it can be for people to find something to use against you, especially when you're constantly in the spotlight, but how these tests can show you precisely where your friends' loyalties lie.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): 'Father Figure'
Capricorn is a sign often associated with a strong work ethic, as well as very traditional and parental roles, making their connection so the song "Father Figure" multifaceted. The song explores two different types of father figures—first, a record executive pretending to be a paternal figure to Taylor and taking care of her, despite only being interested in becoming rich taking advantage of her talent and inevitable fame, before Taylor herself then steps into this role of power. Now she's cut him lose, and she's fully in control of the empire she created as the new "father figure." Capricorns, too, have ambitions to be fully self-made, relying on no one else as they take charge of what they've built.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): 'Wi$h Li$t'
Of all of the signs of the zodiac, Aquarius is known for being the least predictable and the most eccentric, in part because they define success in their own way. Taylor, too, does this with the shimmery "Wi$h Li$t," a track that highlights the wealth, prestige and material things that other people might want in life and contrasts it with her own, more humble, wish list, entirely focused around building a life with her true love.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 19): 'Ruin The Friendship'
Dreamy and romantic Pisces is one of the signs most likely to fall in love with a friend—and to do absolutely nothing about it out of fear that they'll "Ruin the Friendship." The funky pop track describes Taylor's regret over never making a move on a friend she was developing feelings for, with that remorse growing even stronger after his death. The song ends with Taylor's advice to at least try and see—something Pisces really can take to heart.
