Stop What You're Doing! You Must See These Dogs in Halloween Costume

If you think you know what's best about Halloween, we're here to tell you otherwise.

We've officially found the best part about this frightening holiday: a parade in New York City, dedicated to dogs and their unique costumes. The Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade was recently held in the city for the 27th year in a row.

That's right, 27 years and we had no idea what we were missing.

This year's parade featured 500 puppers dressed in their Halloween best. Scroll below to see some of our favorites.
