We're settling back into routines after summer relaxation, and embracing the cooler, wetter weather—and the chance to stay in and enjoy cozy activities. With this change also comes a whole host of new fall fashion trends to fall in love with.

It's never too early to start your shopping and begin wearing the next season's hottest looks. Curious about what's about to take over in 2025? Read on to discover the top trends and how we'll be wearing them this year.

Racing Jackets

Edgy and colorful moto racing jackets with eye-catching graphics are catching on in a big way this year. While many have been drawn to the look thanks to the rapidly rising popularity of Formula 1 racing, we're particularly obsessed thanks to style icon Rumi from KPop Demon Hunters. They're a great way to show off your personal style with color choices and your patches of choice, instantly adding a vibrant pop of attitude to any outfit.

Everyday Lace

Lingerie dressing is trending in a big way, and it's gotten a boost thanks to Hailey Bieber's flawless execution of the look. Sheer lace is one of the season's most beloved fabrics, and it's not just for pajamas and lingerie anymore, working its way into everyday looks, from dresses and tops to pants. The transparency lends an elegant yet audacious edge to the look, and how far you decide to take it is entirely up to you.

Showgirl Orange

Ever since Taylor Swift's recent announcement of her upcoming albumThe Life of a Showgirl, and the moment she flaunted its captivating cover, we knew Showgirl Orange would be the trending hue of the fall. Orange has always been classic for autumn, but it feels more appropriate than ever in 2025, with various shades, from bright tangerines to more subdued burnt oranges, conveying a sense of sophistication while drawing all eyes to you.

Sequined Everything

The Life of a Showgirl's album cover also received a bedazzled treatment, with orange glitter and layers of collaged rhinestones, which has us ready to ready to lean into sequined looks this fall. We love that they give us options, whether we want to glisten from head to toe, wear delicately accented pieces or even go all-out with reversible sequins that depict different messages depending on the direction they're facing. We're also big fans of an unexpected sequined accessory, for example heels or a clutch, to add a touch of glamour to an otherwise subdued ensemble.

Edgy Animal Prints

Y2K-inspired looks continue to reemerge with every season, and for fall, we're already seeing the return of edgy animal prints. Whether you're drawn to zebra, cheetah, leopard or tiger-inspired designs, they create a look that's fun and effortlessly cool, and shockingly versatile depending on how they're styled. They can be part of elevated outfits you can wear to a business meeting or playful and edgy outfits ready for the dancefloor.

Trench Coats

Scandinavian-inspired outfits are all the rage right now, and they're all about layering the perfect neutral pieces to create a balanced, sleek look. Trench coats, in particular, are great for this trend, creating a baggy drape over a fitted look underneath to make the wearer look put-together yet comfy and warm.

English Teacher Aesthetic

Yes, that's yet another Taylor Swift-inspired trend on the list, because your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married, and the preppy, modern look has us fully enamored. It's another trend that emphasizes comfort and coziness, including oversized cardigans, sweaters and vests, plus academic cat-eye glasses, layering and inviting prints. Basically, these looks make us eager to step into our English teacher era.
