The Ideal Cozy Valentine’s Day Date, Based on Your Zodiac Sign
Valentine's Day is a little over a week away. Do you already have your date night plans in place?
It can be easy to agonize over prepping the romantic evening of your dreams, but that doesn't have to be a source of stress. Instead, we recommend keeping things sweet and simple with a fun and cozy activity that brings you both together to make the most of the time you have. Both of your zodiac signs can be a great place to start, so scroll down to the signs of both you and your special someone for some date night inspiration—or combine them for the best of both worlds.
Aries (March 21 – April 19): Hit the Arcade
You might think of fiery Aries as a sporty and active sign first and foremost, but those traits are often a side effect of the fact they're so competitive. If you're not both outdoorsy types, an arcade can be an excellent alternative, as it's the chance to try many different types of games together and put your skills to the test. It can bring out Aries' competitive spirit, whether you're going head to head or teaming up against another couple. Even if one of you isn't so great at these kinds of games games, you're bound to have plenty of fun.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Share a Homemade Feast
Taurus has a reputation for being a homebody, as well as loving to indulge the senses, and both concepts come together beautifully in the form of a delicious home-cooked meal. After all, the fastest way to a Taurus's heart is through the stomach. We suggest a four-course meal highlighting incredible dishes incorporating flavors you both love. Of course, a tantalizing dessert will also be a must.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Enjoy a Double-(Or Triple- or Quadruple-)Date
While Geminis are known for being outgoing and personable, they can clam up a bit when it comes to the one-on-one nature of date nights—especially on a high-pressure night like Valentine's Day. The remedy? Turning your V-Day date into a bigger social event by going out with your best couple friends (whether that's a double-date or an even bigger outing). Geminis are social butterflies who often feel more comfortable surrounded by others, and after the initial group date, the couples can branch off and do their own thing once Gemini has started feeling more confident.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Have a Snuggly Movie Marathon on the Couch
Cancer is another sign that prefers a quiet night in to a boisterous evening on the town, enjoying cozy comfort over "excitement" any day of the week. Their ideal date involves no effort at all, so we suggest ordering good food, finding a nice spot on the couch under some big blankets and snuggling up while you both watch lovey-dovey flicks. After all, Cancers are secretly big softies, and they don't mind letting loose in the middle of a tear-jerker.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Belt It Out at Karaoke Night
Leos are natural performers who love to be the star of the show, so what could be a better way to let them shine than a karaoke night? You have so many options here, from actually going out to a karaoke bar to simply following along with a lyric video, and you might be surprised to find out how many Leos have their own karaoke machine at home. It's a great opportunity to show off while losing yourself to the music that speaks to your soul.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sep. 22): Enjoy A Book Store Date
Virgos are the perpetual scholars of the zodiac, always eager to learn something new (or at least get lost in a new book), making the book store a surprisingly Valentine's Day destination. Take some time to peruse the shelves together and hunt for a book or two that you think will be perfect for your date. Then share your thoughts, buy the books (and some hot drinks, if there's a café available) before diving into them together.

Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22): Arrange an At-Home Spa Night
Libra can be a complex sign, getting so hung up on the idea of balance and peace for others that they lose sight of how to create these things for themselves. They're people-pleasers through and through, which is why they deserve to be thoroughly pampered on Valentine's Day, without the need to lift a finger or make any decisions for themselves. From little treats to scented candles, foot soaks, sheet masks and maybe even a massage, everything should be planned ahead of time so they can just sit back and enjoy.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Make Arts and Crafts Together
As a water sign, Scorpio is one of the most sensitive and creative signs of the zodiac, though they don't eagerly share that side of them with people they don't trust. In a relationship, however, Scorpio is likely to want to open up and express themselves artistically to show just how much they care. An arts and crafts night, whether that means painting each other, working on your own creative projects or learning a new skill together, is an excellent couples' activity, and at the end of the night, you'll be able to give each other tangible keepsakes to show for it.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): Go on a Nature Hike
Of all of the signs of the zodiac, adventurous and outdoorsy Sagittarius will be the least likely to be satisfied with a date that involves sitting around. They'd much prefer to get outdoors into the open air, whatever the weather, and love the thought of a nature hike. It's all about the fresh air and soaking in the sights and sounds of the wild. You'll probably want to get back before nightfall, leaving plenty of time for the rest of your "date night" stuff.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): Go Dancing
While Capricorn isn't known as the most romantic sign of the zodiac, they are ones to ascribe to certain customs, and will thus expect a classically extravagant kind of date. Dancing is just the thing, combining movement with culture to reflect a bonding ritual that's unlike anything else. Truly, the more traditional, the better, so we suggest ballroom dances, including the waltz and foxtrot.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): Take Over a Theme Park
Planning a date with an Aquarius can be tricky because they tend to defy expectations. Some might not be into celebrating Valentine's Day at all, while others would much prefer to take an unusual approach, such as spending all day at a theme park. This really can make for an excellent bonding experience, making memories together between unusual fair foods and adrenaline-pumping rides, giving you all the time you need to mingle while you queue up for the next experience.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): Stargaze Together
And finally, we can't think of a better date for dreamy and emotional Pisces than going stargazing together. It's a free and romantic opportunity to look up at the night sky and wonder the vastness of the universe, and the planets lined up for V-Day 2025 couldn't be better. Unfortunately, being mid-February can mean that clouds and unclear weather can block your view. If they do, that's just the perfect excuse to go out again the following night—and the one after that, and the one after that…
