The 2018 Winter Olympics have been well underway for almost a week now.

While we wish we could continually watch the games all day long, it’s not that simple.

Chloe Kim has been making waves in the snowboarding world over the past couple of years. During this year’s Olympics, she became the youngest woman ever to win an Olympic snowboarding medal.

Mirai Nagasu

Mirai Nagasu is another Olympian who made history this year. She became the first American figure skater to land a triple axel at the Olympics. Mirai’s also only the third woman to do this. Impressive or what?

Lindsey Vonn

This World Cup alpine ski racer has long since been someone we’ve admired. Lindsey Vonn has done some pretty incredible things in her Olympic career, so we can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for this powerful woman.

Erin Jackson

You might not have guessed this by how athletic she is, but Erin Jackson only learned how to speed skate four months prior to qualifying for the Olympics. Plus, she’s the first black woman on the long-track team’s roster. We’re rooting for you, Erin.

Elana Meyers Taylor

Elana Meyers Taylor is the bobsledder we all need to know. She lead an all-male team, making her one of the first women to compete with and against men at an international bobsledding competition. We know for a fact she’s going to crush it at this year’s Olympics.

Maame Biney

Known for her positive attitude and gleaming smile, Maame Biney is the first black woman on the Olympic speedskating team. Not only that, she’s the second African-born athlete to represent Team USA.

Maddie Bowman

This is freestyle skier Maddie Bowman’s second Olympics. In 2014, she went home with the gold. We don’t doubt she’ll do exactly the same this year.

Mikaela Shiffrin

Alpine ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin has some pretty lofty accomplishments under her belt. She is the reigning Olympic and world champion in slalom and the youngest slalom champion in Olympic history.

Jessie Diggins

Jessie Diggins has had an impressive cross-country skiing career. Apart from being in the Olympics twice, Jessie finished third in the Tour de Ski, making her the first American to finish on the podium.
